Update for 7 May 2014:

:bulletgreen:  ConQuesT in Kansas City is coming right up at the end of May, and since this one is local for me I'll be there in person.
:bulletgreen:  I'll also be at SoonerCon this year, which is near Oklahoma City near the end of June.
:bulletgreen:  I'll be participating in the Art @ Work corporate challenge for creative types in Kansas City.  I'm one of two or three people who actually have the NERVE to submit fantasy art to this city-wide exhibition and competition.
:bulletgreen:  I think the next convention is gonna be DragonCon at the end of August.  While I won't be visiting in person, I will be sending them quite a bit of stuff for the show.

:bulletblue::bulletblue::bulletblue::bulletblue::bulletblue::bulletblue:

:bulletgreen:Here is the ART TO COLOR folder.
:bulletgreen:  Coloring books Volume 1 and Volume 2 are also available for $15 each.  Shipping included in US/Canada.

:new:  Now Volume 3 is available!

Hooray for convention season! I'm actually going to be hitting my first convention this summer as well as an artist/panelist, so it's pretty exciting. :D

Yeah, it's definitely a big step. My first into "officially" being at some of these conventions. Hopefully in a year or two I'll be able to start traveling around to other cons.

Are you going to be sending stuff in to Convergence again this year? I got 2 great prints of yours last year from there :3

Might do, might do.  I've not been as organized this year as I would like.  Real life has been rather underfoot.  I will check my contact list and see if I still have time to get my Convergence stuff together.

MVS - are you talking Multiple Virtual Storage, like the old IBM mainframe systems?

Quick side question - would it be possible to get on your art trade waiting list? I know it would end up being sometime in the indefinite future, but I'd love to do another art trade with you sometime. Especially now that I've got some formal education under my belt. :D

Yes indeed, that would be the MVS we've been using for sixty years, though it has outgrown its short pants and is now... venerable.  And goes by the name of z/OS.  :D

And also yes, I will add you to my trade list.  I'd love to do another one with you; I just need to make sure I allocate some time for this kind of work this year.

The z/OS. That's the IBM 64-bit architecture mainframe, right? I've never worked with one personally. Most of the work I do is dealing with Linux clusters and supercomputers. But they're definitely a blast to work on. :D

Thanks for adding me to the trade list! Whenever you have time I think it'll be a blast! :D

Indeed it is - 64 bits of computing glory, and so complex that even the book writers have trouble explaining it.  My dad is one of our MVS gurus, and I decided ages and ages ago that I wanted to follow in his footsteps when I grew up.  Now, some three decades later, I'm on that road.  Persistence = WIN!  :boogie:  I've never acquired the comfort with Linux, Java, C++, or any of the other more modern languages; it's been MVS and z/OS pretty much since I joined DST.

We're both techies at heart. :D

Yeah. I've heard of z/OS. Never used it personally, but that's mainly because I'm a computer scientist. The type of work I do is a bit different from the kind of stuff the CIS groups do. The clusters I run these days are CentOS or RHEL. I do suggest you mess around in Linux sometime, even if it's just casually. CentOS or Ubuntu are always good to be familiar with, even if it's just basic stuff like using them to set up networks and servers.

The waiting list is for people who  have requested to do an art trade with me.  When I have time to start art trades again, I will send the people on the list a note to let them know.  :-)

Ok! :) I hope I will have too the time since I am very busy. I asked you to do an art-trade with me 2 years ago so you see, I don't have as many time now :).

I understand your dilemma!  I have had the same problem - I'm very, very busy almost all the time.  But I also have not *forgotten* about you.  Some day when our free times overlap, we will be able to do an art trade.  :-)
