Alas and alack, I've been tagged... By good ol' , no less.

So here they are, eight random facts about me:

1. I need a lot of "alone time". It takes an Act of Congress and a great deal of bribery for any of my old high school friends to get me to go out and do anything.

2. Fandom du jour: Transformers, both G1 and Movieverse. I've decided that I would like to be a giant, flight-capable, well-armed, evil robot when I grow up. At least until The Next Big Thing comes along and consumes my brain.

3. I find color patterns of oceanic life forms and tropical birds to be intensely fascinating. As you lot can probably tell, these kinds of colors inspire a lot of my work.

4. I can cook well if I follow a recipie, and I enjoy cooking for my co-workers on pot-luck food days.

5. I do not like to do yardwork. When I can get away with it, I will only mow my lawn three or four times a year. My neighbor has started sneakily mowing my lawn when I'm not looking, because he HATES the fact that I don't care if my yard is covered in fall leaves. Last year, he put up a little FENCE so that the leaves wouldn't blow onto his immaculate turf!

6. My hair stays short, period. Lo-and-behold, I'm FINALLY getting some gray and white hairs to grow in!

7. I eat raw turkey hotdogs. I hate 'em cooked. I like fruity yogurt, too.

8. In the real world, I want to be a Technical Writer for my next major career shift. I plan to take some online college courses starting next year.

Okay, that's it from me! I'm not tagging anyone in particular, as I know you guys get pinged with this kind of stuff all the time. If'n you want to state your Eight Random Facts, by all means do so.

"Planning" means that I'm thinking about your project, but don't have anything on paper yet.

"Sketched" means that I have a rough doodle in my sketchbook. I don't always post these.

"In Progress" means that I've started the pencilwork, or that I'm inking the project, or that I'm coloring it. I've started posting the works-in-progress to my Shoutboard for easy reference.

When individual trade projects are complete, they will be posted in the gallery and on the Shoutboard (at least for a little while), but the entry will be removed from the Journal.
