We visited one of my favorite tourist traps, Garden of the Gods near Manitou Springs in Colorado. I love the weird rocks and patterns there. Unfortunately, we visited the park on *Saturday*, so it was jam-packed with people and we did not have time to both hunt down a parking place and go hiking through my favorite areas where there are big rocks to climb on and around. I captured a few good pictures, though, and these are some of my favorites.

Yes, it's all different varieties of sandstone, if I remember correctly.

Definitely, if I can convince my family that we ought to check out *other* areas of Colorado... We find a favorite spot or two, and THAT is where we go for the next several years.

You should have thrown something at me while you were in-state. ;D I love Garden of the Gods, I live relatively close to it (about an hour's drive) I should visit it more often. Really nice pics!

Oh I love that place too, I wish I could have visited again before leaving Colorado. I really like that top left one, the natural 'stair steps'
