This is my one and only Predator player-character whom I used in the same RPG that had to deal with Glinda and the Bunnies. Seriously.
This is Steg-cti'di, the Running Blade ("Runs with Scissors" was what the other gamers called me...).
I had a blast playing a tech-oriented character in a magic-oriented world. My character couldn't tell what was going on, or what all this "magic" nonsense was about, and consequently got violently frustrated with her fellow characters on a regular basis.
And I bet y'all didn't know this: Predators are ticklish. Especially when they're ganged up on by a bunch of fluffy pink bunnies with feather dusters. Oh. My. God.
*happy sigh* I miss that game.
I did this old thing with ink, marker and colored pencil.
Steg-cti'di was my original RP character. I ran as her in a play-test campaign on an SF/Fantasy world that a friend created. Our whole gaming crew gained an obscene amount of experience and ended up as the "walking gods" of this world, so I retired the Steg-cti'di character because she was too powerful - and she lacked a basic sense of humor. You have NO IDEA how hard it was to play a character completely deadpan 100% of the time - I like to crack jokes and throw out frivolous trivia during game play. As Steg-cti'di, I had to be ridiculously pragmatic and completely obtuse about everything. You should have HEARD the other characters trying to explain "wild magic" to me...
Chaunn is my current alter-ego (well, she's the main one). She became my focus character after the close of Steg-cti'di's campaign, because I needed a more "real" character that was closer to my core personality type. I don't RP with Chaunn unless it's in brief commentary that you see here at DA every once in a while; mostly I save her for my fan-fiction projects.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
