The lion is called Grograman, the Many-Colored Death. He inhabits the daytime desert of Goab, and he changes color each time he sets foot on a differently colored sand dune. No sand dune in the whole desert is the same color as any other. Bastien created Grograman shortly after Bastien tumbled right into the middle of the Neverending Story .
I created this with Prismacolor pencils on toned paper.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure

I did have to do some thinking before I attacked the background with every color in my palette - I didn't want any of the dunes to overpower the lion!
