Of the pre-instrument-toting Jazzdragons, I must say that this eye-popper is my favorite. I really dig color juxtaposition, that is, contrasting colors set against each other, and I am inspired by Rock Art posters from the 60's and 70's that use this "color vibration" technique to excellent effect. This guy is designed to burn your retinas on purpose! The afterimage is really spiffy...

I did this one in watercolor and colored pencil. I got those streaky sunburst things in the background by scraping over the damp paint with a paper towel. Cheap, but effective!

Original artwork: available - $125.

Prints: not available.

Oooooh! I love the bright flamey scheme of this one! I think the green stripes and wing membranes kinda ruin the effect, though... Sticks out a little too much for me.
Very effective! Haha, this one is fantastic. I love those bright colors, it looks so dynamic.

Awesome! This one is probably my favorite of the bunch for all its color-clashedness. I really look forward to seeing what you can do with it. :D
