You may not repost this black and white line design, or colorings of this design, as adoptables, nor may you sell it for points or for money.
Please tell me when you've finished coloring the picture so I can show off your work!
You may share your coloring outside of DeviantArt, unless I specify otherwise in the description.
I reserve the right to sell my own colored version of this design, as it is my own lineart.
Corollary: I will never do anything to anyone else's colored versions beyond appreciation and praise. They will be linked in the lineart's description, or in an Awesome Colorists journal here on DeviantArt, but absolutely nowhere else.
I've been drawing these guys over my lunch breaks at work. They go pretty fast, all things considered. I might break away and touch upon themes besides dragons one of these days, but right now I'm really enjoying the overabundance of detail that I can throw into these particular guys.
Digital PNG of a pen and ink drawing.
Colored versions may now be seen in the Awesome Colorists 7 journal.
More Stone Dragons, both line designs and full-color, may be seen in the Stone Dragon Gallery Folder.
In fact, if it's okay with you, I might have to colour in one of your linearts and play with the colours a bit. We should collab or something sometime!
I'll consider your suggestion on coloring the lines themselves. Often, the lines are completely obscured by my coloring mediums by the time I get finished with them. Since I saved the crisp version of the lineart, though, I might try some layering experimentation. Thanks for the idea!
I'd love to see what you can do with my line designs. I really enjoy seeing how other artists color my work. You guys often pick color schemes and textures that would not have occurred to me.
Yes, a collab would be awesome. I'll stick a note in my journal and I'll get back with you when I have some of my other stuff cleared off my plate. Thanks again!
Of course!...to both colouring some lines and a collab! I bet the collab would turn out sweet!
I rellay love the style of your dawings!
So much detail has gone into this!
..and it's done over a lunch break? O_o wow.. out of curiosity - do you have drawing connected work?
