Description
I found a picture of a leopard lounging on a branch with the jungle in the background, and I thought it would be fun to see how a small dragon might look in the same pose. Except that I got really, really lazy about the background. It's MISTY! YEAH! Heh.
I drew this with pen and ink, then colored the dragon and its perch with markers. I did detailing with colored pencil, then slapped a sorry excuse for a background in there with watercolor. Later, I turned the dragon blue and made him into a wall mural for the son of a friend of mine.

It seems so lush. I like the background, because it's very light and doesn't take away from the bold dragon in the forground. The background seems like a distant hilly forest or jungle behind so much mist.
The dragon has such vibrant colors on the wings. The spine design is very beautiful and exquisite. Just by the texture, I can feel the touch on my fingers. I love how you shade with markers. Your art is truly amazing and always a pleasure to look at!
