Expressions of Light 7

This is the second piece I did which was inspired by my visit to Chicago for my sister's graduation from Navy basic training. Got my USA pride on, by golly, and the Blue Angels are just darned cool anyway. This macho angel has his base color scheme in the Navy's elite air corps plane design. I figured it was time to have an Expressions of Light angel that wasn't so terribly fluffy, and I also didn't have any male angels in the collection, so here we go.

This one probably will not go on the 2007 Christmas cards. I think I'll do another fluffy bit or two for that project later in the year.

This one was also done with nine colors from the Prismacolor Verithin set. NINE. OMGWTFBBQ... Do you guys have ANY IDEA how hard it is for me to not only stick with one medium, but to limit myself to only the basic colors in the freebie set?? THAT is challenging, and I've had quite enough of that, thank you very much. I'm a-goin' back to my monster color palette now.
