Thanks!

I have not forgotten you. The rat and tiger cards were a commission. I want to get all of my commissions out of the way before I begin a new set of art trades. I will be sure to let you know when I am ready to begin trades again!

I'm not sure which one of these two I like best... they're both so wonderful!

I love the way that you draw big cats. He has such a charming (deceptively charming?) semi-smile. There's an intensity in that expression. And I'm still impressed with the amount of texture that you've managed to put into these; the fur texture is so beautifully done, it looks almost like you could reach out and touch him.

The small gem/stone that you've added is a perfect complement, too! I love small additions like that to ACEOs. It gives them so much more character and personality.

Thanks again! I just love them.

Thanks again!

I think I like this tiger fellow best of the pair, simply because I'm fond of the big cats. I had fun playing with subtle grays, oranges, and browns to get the fur texture, and then I added the ink in the final step to punch the shadow and texture just a wee bit more.

Oh yes, I LOVE adding 3D embellishments. You're lucky - I didn't get totally carried away with rhinestones like I've done with some of my more experimental cards. ;p
