Chaunn, Arbitor among Yautja, sat in the cockpit of her ship, curled up in the pilot's seat like a little child. She wore only the leather underpinnings of her armor, which left her well-muscled, jet-black arms and legs exposed. Countless scars criss-crossed her limbs from battles and great Hunts past, but these she paid no mind. A more academic matter constituted her present interest.
She held a datapad in her hands, and with one sharp claw scrolled through its contents. She read of beheading, of flaying, of disembowelment, of filleting – occasionally these brief articles contained gruesome images alongside. She read of great burnings, and of colonies, cities, and countries overrun by monsters. "Monsters" even by Yautja standards – the stuff of myth and legend, but far more disturbing.
