Stone Dragon 04 Opal Sun

This guy is fourth in a series of dragons whose color schemes are based on precious and semiprecious stones.

Consider the daffodil. And while you’re doing that, I’ll be over here, looking through your stuff.

What kind words! Thanks in turn, then, if much-belated. :D

I first saw your work on Elfwood- just amazing:boogie: My personal favorites of your work I would like to see in a presentation are-Dragons!(what a surprise!)I am very fond of your amazingly detailed birdie things too. As for questions you are sure to be asked: How long does it take you to put in all that detail? How did you learn to draw like that? how do you get such vivid colors from colored pencils? Will you draw me a *whatever* for free?(which is why you have wisely chosen to have a day job!):tea::donut:

Glad to be of some bit of help Rachael!Hope you have lots of success with your presentation.:boogie: I well know about the freebie art requests- my Dad was a very skilled commercial artist, and any time friends , relatives, slight acquaintances, etc. came around they would ask "could you paint me a picture?" Often they would say Paint me a "PITCHUR" So my Dad, with a gleam in his eye, would draw them a lovely sketch of a pitcher of lemonade! He also would delight in giving them a tornado- he would write the letters "ado" and tear it from the corner of the page!:boogie:
